Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and professional English to Arabic reviewer with a strong background in consulting-related terminology to join our team. You will be responsible for reviewing a wide range of documents, including reports, proposals, case studies, and presentations, from English to Arabic. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional linguistic abilities, and a deep understanding of consulting industry terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

– Review consulting-related documents from English into Arabic, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.

– Ensure the original text is correctly and fully understood by the translator.

– Verify The TD (glossary), TM (Translation Memory), client/project instructions and Style Guide are properly followed, and terminology is consistently used across projects.

– Review and proofread translated materials to ensure they meet high-quality standards.

– Collaborate with project managers/translators to ensure timely delivery of translation projects.

– Adapt content to suit the specific needs and preferences of the Arabic-speaking audience.

– Follow established guidelines and style guides to meet client expectations.

– Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive client information.

– Implement all feedback and/or updates from the client.

– Prepare ERs to the translators to give them feedback in order to improve.

– Prepare tutorials, training sessions, etc. to enhance the translator’s quality and ensure their improvement.

Qualifications:

– Native proficiency in Arabic, with a strong command of English.

– Proven experience in reviewing documents in the consulting industry (e.g., management consulting, strategy, market research, etc.).

– At least 3 years of experience as a professional reviewer, preferably in the business or consulting fields.

– Familiarity with Translation Memory (TM) tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, etc.) is highly desirable.

– Strong attention to detail, with excellent proofreading and editing skills.

– Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

– Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.

– Previous experience working with consulting companies or in the consulting industry.

– Ability to handle both high-volume and high-complexity projects.

– Knowledge of industry-specific jargon and terminology is a plus.
